The Auld Hoose, on St Leonard's Street Edinburgh, is the Southside's only alternative pub.  It has an excellent reputation for traditional pub food, hand pulled real ales endorsed by Camra, a selection of 24 single malt whiskies and an eclectic jukebox with an awesome selection of Metal, Punk, Rock, and Goth music.

Situated equidistant between Bristo Square and Pollock halls, the Auld Hoose is a convenient meeting place for students and their societies with alternative tastes.

From 5pm till 9.30pm on Mondays there is a 20% discount on food for everyone. Students are entitled to a 10% discount on food at all times.

Quiz night is Tuesday from 8pm.  Make sure you arrive in good time to claim a table.
